All over the world, churches are mobilising themselves and their local communities to bring transformation to the lives of people living in poverty.

‘At times we found it difficult not to force our own agendas. Work seemed to be moving slowly, but remaining sensitive to the people and culture was more important than imposing our own plans or objectives.’ Nathan Gilmour, Ayr, leader of a team to Malawi.
By joining a
Walking together network you’ll be supporting the work of a group of five churches overseas financially and in prayer, sharing with and learning from each other through a web meeting-place specially developed by Tearfund.
A place where you can exchange news, information, prayer needs and photos and videos; Your whole church can share in this, be encouraged and inspired as you work out what getting involved with your local community looks like too.
We currently have spaces for churches to join the Uganda network. Can you pledge to raising £3,000* or more per annum for a minimum of 3 years, and can you commit to posting an update on the network every fortnight? Click here to find out more about PAG Uganda and to sign up online.
If you would like to find out more about Walking together please contact us on 084 5521 0021 or connectedchurch@tearfund.org
*10% of your pledge will be used for admininstration, technical support and infrastructure development of the networks.
